Garment machinist • Travis County, Texas

Now hiring: we are hiring a garment machinist in Travis County, Texas. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. On the job you will handle: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift You should have: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory 6+ years on the tools preferred.
