Shuttering carpenter wanted in Bridgend county borough

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Bridgend county borough, Wales. You will be based at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. The role involves: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions Requirements: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Good eye for detail and a clean finish Six days a week, one day off.
