Fire and safety officer • Callahan County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Callahan County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points What we are looking for: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
