Now hiring: we are hiring a sample machinist in Ukum, Benue State. You will work at a busy garment factory. Your main tasks: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes Requirements: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. ₦100,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
