Urgent requirement: industrial sewing operator (Michigan)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Livingston County, Michigan. You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams On the job you will handle: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line Rotating shifts. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
