Concrete labourer wanted in Mason County

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Mason County, Illinois. You will be based on a road and bridge project. You will fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
