Vacancy available: dogger (South Dakota)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a dogger in Beadle County, South Dakota. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. Your main tasks: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites 3+ years on the tools preferred.
