Shuttering carpenter wanted in Carter County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Carter County, Missouri. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. On a typical shift you will check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations. Ideal candidate: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided.
