Now hiring: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Marion County, Ohio. You will work in customers' homes and kitchens. Requirements: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces The role involves: • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience.
