Concrete placer • Butler County, Alabama

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete placer in Butler County, Alabama. Ideal candidate: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Your main tasks: • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms 3+ years on the tools preferred.
