Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Goliad County, Texas. You will work in a gas distribution network. Requirements: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion The role involves thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints.
