Ideal candidate: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges On a typical shift you will glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame.
