Refrigeration field service technician • Saint Joseph County, Michigan

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Saint Joseph County, Michigan. You will be based in an HVAC service company. What we are looking for: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints Day-to-day duties: • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
