What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear The role involves: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Read lift plans and method statements before starting We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits.
