The role involves operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door; monitor the CCTV screens in the control room; frisk people and run bag checks at the entry point; respond to intrusion alarms and panic alerts; log every visitor and vehicle in the duty register; man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes.
