Sheet metal welder wanted in Goliad County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Goliad County, Texas. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. The role involves strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
