Immediate opening: automotive refinish painter (New Mexico)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Santa Fe County, New Mexico. You will work at a busy body shop. You will blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper. What we are looking for: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
