Head baker — Aleutians East Borough

We are recruiting: we are hiring a head baker in Aleutians East Borough, Alaska. The job is at a café with an on-site bakery. Ideal candidate: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • 2+ years' experience as a baker The role involves shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials.
