Urgent requirement: pipe tig welder (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Carroll County, Virginia. The role involves grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Six days a week, one day off.
