Tig welder — Obio/Akpor

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Obio/Akpor, Rivers State. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight On the job you will handle: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
