Immediate opening: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Shasta County, California. You will be based at an auto components factory. What we are looking for: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Day to day you will feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
