Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sample machinist in Bracknell Forest, England. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Day to day you will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. £1,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
