Site safety steward wanted in Saint John the Baptist Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a site safety steward in Saint John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a busy construction site. Day to day you will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task. Ideal candidate: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
