Concrete finisher wanted in Southeast Fairbanks Census Area

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Southeast Fairbanks Census Area, Alaska. Requirements: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works The role involves: • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab 6+ years on the tools preferred.
