HVAC-R technician — Jefferson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a HVAC-R technician in Jefferson County, Illinois. You will work in a commercial cold storage facility. You should have: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders The role involves replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
