On a typical shift you will estimate repair costs and order the right parts; carry out suspension and steering repairs; replace clutch plates and gearbox components; diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool; recharge and service the air-conditioning system. What we are looking for: • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic • Good eyesight and methodical fault-finding Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
