Urgent requirement: MIG/MAG welder (Missouri)

Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Wayne County, Missouri. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI in welder trade or equivalent The role involves: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
