Gas meter installer • Grant Parish, Louisiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Grant Parish, Louisiana. Day to day you will connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints. You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Part-time with flexible hours.
