Shuttering charge hand wanted in Linn County

Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Linn County, Iowa. You will be based on a residential tower site. The role involves: • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure You should have: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
