Great opportunity: steel fixer (South Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Oconee County, South Carolina. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. On a typical shift you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. You should have: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
