Gas service engineer wanted in Carroll County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Carroll County, Indiana. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. On a typical shift you will carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
