Occupational health and safety officer wanted in Steele County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Steele County, Minnesota. What we are looking for: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites The role involves: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
