Concrete pump mate — Akuku Toru

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Akuku Toru, Rivers State. You will compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength. You should have: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
