Tailor machinist wanted in Otero County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Otero County, New Mexico. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. The role involves: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus 2+ years on the tools preferred.
