Production operative wanted in Lapeer County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a production operative in Lapeer County, Michigan. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. The role involves clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges. You should have: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
