Requirements: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes Day-to-day duties: • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place Six days a week, one day off.
