Urgent requirement: we are hiring a general labourer in Merced County, California. On a typical shift you will clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations. What we are looking for: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience.
