Immediate opening: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Polk County, Georgia. Your main tasks: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools 6+ years on the tools preferred.
