Now hiring: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Canadian County, Oklahoma. The job is with a civil contractor. The role involves: • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns What we are looking for: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
