Now hiring: we are hiring a QC technician in Buckingham County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
