Chiller technician — West Berkshire

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a chiller technician in West Berkshire, England. The job is in an AC and refrigeration showroom. Day to day you will wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution. What we are looking for: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds Pay around £2,800 per month, based on your experience.
