Shuttering and concrete hand — Greensville County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Greensville County, Virginia. You will be based on a building construction site. You will mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. You should have: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Rotating shifts.
