Skimming plasterer • Evangeline Parish, Louisiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Evangeline Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a plastering and dry lining contractor. The role involves: • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat Requirements: • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites 4+ years on the tools preferred.
