Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles The role involves guide loads through tight openings into their final position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight.
