Toolroom milling operator wanted in Scotland County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Scotland County, Missouri. The job is in a CNC machining unit. Day-to-day duties: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to grind and set HSS cutters 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
