Reinforcement steel fixer • Ethiope East, Delta State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Ethiope East, Delta State. You will be based at a high-rise construction project. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules 5+ years on the tools preferred.
