Immediate opening: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a road and highway construction project. Your main tasks: • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse Requirements: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
