Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Kanabec County, Minnesota. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
