Now hiring: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Miga, Jigawa State. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently The role involves: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality Part-time with flexible hours.
