We are recruiting: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Walker County, Alabama. The job is on commercial and industrial sites. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches The role involves: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge Part-time with flexible hours.
